As an instructor of traditional martial arts, I teach martial arts techniques, history, meditation and philosophy emphasizing development of self-respect, self-esteem, and respect for others. I have trained in the martial arts for more than 40 years and hold certifications in more than a dozen martial arts. I am the world head & grandmaster of Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Karate-Kobudo Kai and hold the highest rank attainable in Shorin-Ryu (Okinawan) karate. My achievements have led to my induction into 14 Halls of Fame.



• Soke Shodai (Head-founder, Grandmaster), Seiyo no Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai, certified on September 23rd, 1999.

• Honorable Grandmaster, Okinwan Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do. Certified on March 25th, 2004.

• 10th Dan (Judan), Shorin-Ryu Karate & Kobudo. Certified by WOMA on February 22nd, 2004.

• 10th Dan (Judan), Seiyo Shorin-Ryu Karate & Kobudo. Certified by JKI on June 6th, 2004.

• Certifications for 7 other black belt ranks in Shorin-Ryu, Shotokan, Kempo and Kobujutsu as well as certifications in 10 other martial arts.
